Your responsibilities:

  • (Further) development of test benches for electric motors and electric turbomachines with a focus on power supply (up to 1000 V DC), measurement technology and evaluation software
  • Operation of the test benches as part of development and production, including in the wind tunnel – Taking over the job as responsible electrician / expert management HV (after induction, training)
  • Planning, carrying out and evaluating tests to classify the performance data and operating limits of new drives
  • Commissioning and setting of converters (LV, HV)
  • Selection and integration of sensors in electric motors
  • Documentation of the test benches and training of employees – Advising customers on system integration
  • Support in the electrical design of electric motors and drive systems
  • Reporting to the Electric R&D team in and outside of Germany (same time zone)

Your Profile

  • Successfully completed studies in the field of electrical engineering or a similar course or copleted training as an electronics technician with further training to become a state-certified technician or master
  • At least 2 years of professional experience, ideally experience with test benches up to 1000 V
  • Experience setting up and operating AC/DC power supplies
  • Experienced use of measurement technology (multimeter, oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, DAQ, insulation measurement)
  • Knowledge of automated data analysis (Python, spreadsheets)
  • Basic knowledge of development of electronic assemblies – Programming knowledge in the area of ​​microcontrollers (C) or industrial controls
  • Experience in the area of ​​AC low voltage/house installation technology
  • Experience in the aviation or automotive industry
  • Very good knowledge of German and English, both spoken and written
  • Initiative, responsibility and awareness of mistakes
  • Customer-focused, creative and practical thinking
  • Dynamic and autonomous way of working
  • Driving license class B
