In this position, you will delve deeper into the rotor dynamics and mechanical construction of electrically driven turbomachinery. In return, we offer state-of-the-art design tools for your tasks, a dynamic team, and exciting challenges in theory and practice.

Your responsibilities:

You will:

  • Support our development team and develop solutions for our new products
  • Design complete components and assemblies, considering technical and regulatory requirements
  • Responsible for conducting computational stress simulations, CAD designs, and creating 2D drawings
  • Collaborate with our team to build prototypes and fixtures, conduct tests, and document progress and results
  • Work closely with the production department

You will be reporting to the head of the Structural Design Team.

Your Profile

You have/are:

  • Successfully completed studies in mechanical engineering or a related field
  • Previous experience in the design and analysis of lightweight structures and aircraft components
  • Proficient in the use of relevant CAD software and computer-aided analysis tools, especially FEM
  • Independent, creative work approach, and interest in developing new ideas
  • Skilled in hands-on work, enjoying building and testing prototypes you have designed
  • Results-oriented and structured working style, along with strong team collaboration skills
  • Customer-focused, creative and practical thinking
  • Excellent German and English language skills, both spoken and written
  • Good social skills
  • Dynamic and autonomous way of working
  • Driving license class B
